Mental Health Awareness Month

In 1949, the Mental Health America Organization recognized May as Mental Health Awareness month. Mental Health Awareness is an opportunity for those who are living with a mental illness to be recognized for all that they have accomplished. The goal is to fight stigma against mental illness, educate the public, and support those who fight a battle every day. Feel free to click on some of the links below to learn more about some of the more common mental illnesses and how you can support your friends and family that may be diagnosed with them.

Anxiety

Depression

PTSD

Schizophrenia

Bipolar

Please take some time to consider your own mental health and those of your friends and family. Just like exercise, the brain needs to be happy and healthy to function clearly. Take some time for you this month and consider checking out our Self Care page!
